Bendigo Olive Fiesta 2012
March 22 2012From the overwhelmingly positive response it seems that The 2012 Bendigo Olive Fiesta was a huge success. There was loads of yummy food and drinks and plenty of interesting stalls for all to enjoy. Congratulations to The Bendigo Pottery, once again the magnificent venue, so fitting for this prestigious event.
The entertainment was once again a feature. Hats off to Miguel Martinez and his band Los Locos for some great Mediterranean-style music; and The Norm Gray Jazz Band showed once again why they are so popular in Bendigo and right around the country.
This year The Rotary Club of Bendigo South teamed up with The Rotary Club of Bendigo-Strathdale and it demonstrated what benefits can flow to the community when clubs work together. Thanks to members and friends of both clubs who put in a huge effort to make sure the day went smoothly.
Thanks also to Inner Wheel Club of Bendigo South for making sure there were plenty of cold soft drinks on hand to quench even the biggest thirst.
The Olive Fiesta would not be possible without the assistance of our Community Partners, who pitch in and make the work load so much easier. This year part of the proceeds will go to Men’s Shed and The South Bendigo Kindergarten.
This year as always the Bendigo Olive Fiesta had huge support and sponsorship from businesses and organisations based in Bendigo and Victoria.
Señoras y señores muchas gracias!
