Annual Club Changeover Celebration

June 27 2022

Recently our Club celebrated its annual changeover dinner at Rotary’s Camp Getaway in Axedale.

On the evening, Club President Merlyn Quaife AM took the opportunity to renew her presidency of the Club for a second year. With the many lockdowns, interruptionsĀ  and Club meetings being held on Zoom, Merlyn felt that it was right to stand for a second term in office. Many exciting opportunities and adventures lay ahead for the Club, as we move into the post-Covid world and can get out and about serving the community fully once again.

On the evening, Paul Harris Fellow awards were bestowed upon several members for their tireless service, as well as the Club’s own Max Ellis award for a non-Board member. Please see our awards page on this website for more details on all awards given out.

Musical entertainment was provided on the evening to entertain those in attendance, from local school students who radiate talent in the musical arts.

Take a look at our photos from the evening in our short animated video.

The Rotary Club of Bendigo South looks forward to a great 2022- 23 Rotary year, as we ‘Imagine Rotary’ and prepare for President Elect Rod Spitty’s leadership the following year.
