Out with the Old, In with the New

July 1 2017

On Thursday 29th June, the Rotary Club of Bendigo South celebrated an evening of fun and enjoyment, with newly installed President, Bernie Young taking over from outgoing Club President, Tony Plant.

The night was held at Big Hill Winery, with over 60 people in attendance. Rotarians and their families, as well as members of the wider Rotary family and local community came together to celebrate the evening with live music and fellowship.

On the night, members reflected on the year that was, as well as plotted ahead the next 12 months.

Outgoing President Tony Plant received a Paul Harris Fellow award for his services to Rotary and the Community over many years, but also for the energetic way in which he lead the Club consecutively for two terms as president. The Rotary Club also received a District 9800 Citation from Governor, Peter Freuh for a ‘job well done’ throughout the past 12 months.

The Changeover is a great night for fun and fellowship, and new or interested members are welcome to join us at any stage, as we prepare for the next 12 months, making a difference in Rotary.
